Here’s a simple quick start on how to load a Sentry plugin or product on your server. This is the fastest and simplest way.

This guide covers the fastest way to get your plugins up and running. For detailed configurations, see the Getting Started guide.

Check Requirements

Ensure your server is running Java 17 or Java 21.
Java 8 and 11 are strictly unsupported and will crash on startup.

Download Your Plugins

Grab the .jar files from your BuiltByBit or Sentry Studios client portal.

Install Plugins

Drag and drop the downloaded .jar files into your server’s plugins/ directory.
If using UI configurations, make sure you also install the required dependencies like DeluxeMenus or PlaceholderAPI.

Restart Server

Restart your server. All necessary configuration files and database schemas will be automatically generated.

Configure Your Assets

Once started, navigate to the newly generated folders (e.g. plugins/SentryWipe/) to modify your config.yml. Use in-game commands to apply changes instantly without restarting!
