# PlaceholderAPI Integration

> Display global wipe metrics, financial stats, and player-specific reset history using PlaceholderAPI.

SentryWipe seamlessly integrates with [PlaceholderAPI](https://github.com/PlaceholderAPI/PlaceholderAPI) to allow server administrators to display live wipe metrics on scoreboards, tablists, holograms, and admin dashboards.

All metrics are served from the high-speed L1 cache (`StatsManager`), guaranteeing zero database lag when polled at high frequencies.

## Global Server Placeholders

| Placeholder | Output Format | Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| `%sentrywipe_total_wipes%` | Integer (e.g. `142`) | Total number of wipes executed across the server lifetime. |
| `%sentrywipe_last_wipe%` | Epoch Millis (e.g. `1716921600000`) | Raw epoch timestamp of the most recent wipe. |
| `%sentrywipe_last_wipe_formatted%` | Date String (e.g. `Oct 24, 18:30`) | Human-readable date and time of the last wipe (or `Never`). |
| `%sentrywipe_economy_wiped%` | Integer (e.g. `15000000`) | Total currency purged from the server economy via Vault. |
| `%sentrywipe_economy_wiped_formatted%` | Currency String (e.g. `$15,000,000`) | Formatted monetary sum purged by SentryWipe. |
| `%sentrywipe_data_cleared%` | Megabytes (e.g. `412.5`) | Total estimated disk space reclaimed from purged playerdata. |
| `%sentrywipe_data_cleared_formatted%` | Size String (e.g. `412.5 KB`) | Formatted file size string purged by SentryWipe. |

## Player-Specific Placeholders

| `%sentrywipe_player_wipes_<player>%` | Integer (e.g. `1`) | Number of wipes recorded for a specific target player (e.g. `%sentrywipe_player_wipes_Notch%`). |

## Troubleshooting

> **Placeholders are returning raw text (e.g. %sentrywipe\_total\_wipes%)**
>
> 1. Ensure **PlaceholderAPI** is installed and active on your server.
> 2. Check `plugins/SentryWipe/hooks.yml` and ensure `hooks.placeholderapi.enabled: true`.
> 3. Run `/papi reload` in your server console.

> **Do I need to download an expansion from eCloud?**
>
> No! SentryWipe bundles its PlaceholderAPI expansion internally. You do **not** need to run `/papi ecloud download sentrywipe`. The expansion registers automatically on startup.
